International collaboration to celebrate Scottish connections of Norwegian poet Petter Dass

Blowing Nordland's Trumpet! SongStream was launched 31st May 2006 at Merchants Hall, Edinburgh, Scotland, at a recital-reception hosted jointly by the Royal Norwegian Consulate General Edinburgh and the Wighton Residency.
Sally Garden (mezzo-soprano) and Donald Hawksworth (piano) gave a live performance simultaneously with projected image and text from the SongStream - realised by Tony Freeth (realisation engineer). Swedish-born translator Anna Paterson and photographer Frank A Jenssen from Norway were also present at the launch.
Nordlands Stream : Blowing Nordland's Trumpet!
Norwegian artist Karl Erik Harr also collaborated on the project.
